No emails in Sent items folder?

Anyone know why any emails I send are not showing up in the Sent items folder on my 520? Is the some setting I need to tweak?
 
What kind of email account are you using?

Are these emails sent from your 520 or from a web browser on a PC or from a desktop PC mail client?
 
When you go into the sent items box. Hit the three dots and select sync this folder.
 
Your client and server could be putting sent mail in different folders.

So, contacted tech support for my ISP (Sonic.net) and by chance the tech I spoke with owns a Lumia 920. He tried to help but only succeded in finding out his 920 wasn't saving his sent emails either.

It's probably because not a lot of people on this forum have Sonic Net as their ISP. I had to Bing/Google them, since I never heard of them before. Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, Time-Warner, Fairpoint would probably be better known ISPs.
 
It would appear to me to be an issue with the WP8 OS, not my ISP. The Sent Items folder in my 520 is part of the phones software, is it not?

What folders appear and where also depends on the way a provider implements IMAP. Nobody with other ISPs have mentioned issues with sent messages being absent in Windows Phones.
 
So, in talking further with my ISP Tech who had the same problem, he got his 920 to save to his Sent Items folder by un-syncing then re-syncing the folder. Did the same for my 520 and the problem seems to be fixed. As to the suggestion to switch to Android - No, Thanks.
