No Google search option for Internet Explorer on the Lumia 735

Hello. I bought a new 735 and was surprised that there was no option to set google as the default search in IE.

I've given Bing a fair run for the last few weeks and its just not working well for local results.

I've tried the google search app in the store but its a poor experience so instead I have pinned google to the start screen as an internet explorer shortcut .

Is there any hope that win10 or 8.1 gd2 will restore this preference considering that the Lumia 640 has the option now?

It's weird, some phones have the option, some phones don't, I think its based on region or whatever.

Will it change? Well, it varies from model to model, but I'd hope so.

You can search on the store for Google Search an (the only) official Google app.
