No more battery.

[Windows Central Question]

I was calling my mom, and it slipped out of my hand. the battery, and cover came off. I walked downstairs to charge it when the phone vibrated, then said Nokia, and then it says that it needs battery. So I charged it and, it doesn't work. if I press the on button, it shows the same needs battery thing. What do I do?

So... You sure the battery is seated good?

You could make a small paper shim maybe 3 pieces of paper thick and put it in the battery well opposite the pins to push the battery into better contact,,, Make another paper ship to put under the battery cover to push down on the battery...

Of course, something inside might have gotten jarred loose from the fall.

If the shim trick doesn't work, seek repair.
