That does suck for them, but I think I would more concerned if they were done with tablets.

I guess it's pointless to wonder what they could have made.

I just wish they would make a tablet worth buying. Their recent announcements are designs using old Intel CPU's and no USB-C. They are pumping out worthless garbage if you ask me.

They need to get to work on releasing the retro/classic thinkpad concept soon.

On a more serious note, I don't think the mobile platform is boding well at all. Lenovo's comments are not all that revelatory, but I've read other articles on how MS isn't focusing on new customers, and not on consumers; in other words, just looking after existing business customers.

At this stage, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the surface phone was vapourware or even gets cancelled.

I can't blame them honestly. If I were running a phone business I'd be hard-pressed to invest in a Windows 10 Mobile device and I'd say the same.

It's not like they released any worthwhile phones anyway. I'd rather have Acer, HP and even Coship as partners. At least they've turned out nice devices, not some half-assed effort.
