How does not having a proximity sensor effect day to day phone use? Is it to easy to face dial or hangup on someone?

On WPCentral's lumia 630 review (which doesn't have such sensor), they state that it doesn't affect anything - apparently, MS found a way around, which means no face dial. I personally never tested it though

I thought I was in the wrong sub-forum reading this thread.

That's because I posted in the wrong sub-forum (OOps!!). Have a 520 and thinking of picking up a 630 next week. You would think if the budget 520 has a proximity sensor they would put one on the 630.

Why not just wait for the 730. The 630 isn't much of an improvement.

Cuz I'm gonna be porting to Cricket next week and the 630 seems to be their best free phone right now. Might as well get a free phone for the sim card to put in an unlocked Moto G. I'm actually gonna try the 630 for a while before purchasing the Moto G LTE.
