I was rather excited to read that certain Nokia Lumia phones now have slow motion video recording. My phone, a 930, was one of them.

But when i go into the Camera App (NOT the Lumia camera app) there is no Turtle icon when i go to record video.

Any ideas on how to get this to work ?

Phone model: Nokia Lumia 930
Software: Windows 10 Mobile
Version: 1511
OS Build: 10.0.10586.494
Camera App: 2015.1071.71.0

UPDATE: Just uploaded an app called "Slow Camera" which is supposed to do slow motion. That does have a Snail icon BUT it is greyed out !
Thanks

I do not know for other devices but for my 640 XL 14393.5 (Fast Ring) it's like this.

There is no direct slo-mo capture for my device (Turtle Icon on camera interface).

Instead when I go to the gallery

And press edit, I am presented with these options

Original Speed (trim video by adjusting the white markers)

Selecting Slow motion gives me an option to adjust (blue markers) which section I want the slow motion.

And for super slow mo, I only have one marker to specify a particular moment.

Works well. Tried 1080p 30fps.

should be on latest camera app update, check settings, there should be at least 60fps modes so you can do it manually

are you on the inside build? I have mine on the non insider. 😆

we have got the feature of editing a video and making a slow mo version of it, but we cant record a slow mo video yet.

This means these older phones do 30fps slow-mo, instead of 120fps slow-mo that the newer 950/XL supports, using the turtle icon?

Older phones like the 1520 (and probably the 930) do 60fps 720p slow motion videos using the turtle icon in camera.

640 Xl is not capable of 60FPS.
And direct slo mo capture is not possible.
I guess its the case for all phones below 830.
