I'm on the fast ring, currently running 10586.107, and I'm not seeing any update to .122. Is this only for the 930 and 950 (I'm running an Icon)?

This is the current trending question for all the fast ring insiders, whether to stay fast or switch to slow.. May be Daniel Rubino should do a blog post for explaining

I was confused about this as well. Several comments on the announcement blog post have stated that the Fast Ring now only applies to new devices that came pre-installed with Windows 10, not older devices that were sold with WP 8.1.

So far, I haven't seen anyone cite a verification of that statement from Microsoft.

There have been many, many posts about this. Fast ring is now on the Redstone branch which is only for devices that shipped with Win 10 at the moment.

If you are on the fast ring on a device that DID NOT ship with Windows 10 then you won't get updates until they release the Redstone Branch for your device. Switch to one of the other rings and you will get the TH2 updates.

I'm on the 950 with Redstone build and I switched back to slow and didn't get the update

Official blog said to switch temporary on slow. Just done, everything seems fine. Then I'll return on fast

You have redstone, reserved to win10 born devices. 122 is for 8.1 born devices

What Maurizo Troso means - in a less cryptic manner :winktongue: .122 is a cumulative update for o/s build 10586 and Redstone has a higher build number being 14267 so you will not see any cumulative updates for 10586.

Ok changed to slow ring and installed the update - so far so good. All seems OK L930

Yes, 122 showed up after I switched to Slow Ring. Downloading it as I am typing here. Thanks.
