Unlucky - the story of my life, it seems. Will post back if I get any info worth noting from my ms answers thread. Also on chat support with samsung to rule them out...

I wonder if the people not getting it, some how the IMEI number is not configured correctly. I mean, when you activate your phone you have to call them and tell a 15 digit number to some person who makes barely over minimum wage and can barely speak English. I am unfortunately away from my phone. D-Burss if you would, on the phone dialer hit *#06# and write down your IMEI number. Then call ATT customer support and see if your IMEI number is correct in the system. If it is not, have them change it and see then if in a few hours you get the NoDo update option.

I would not post your IMEI number online anywhere FYI, not really sure if anybody can do anything with it, but better safe then sorry.

My phone is on a business account and they actually went through the activation process in the AT&T store for me. I went ahead and verified the IMEI as accurate with AT&T support, so no dice there either...

Alright, enahs555, I finally have something in the way of an answer from Samsung support, and if you can validate it for me, all the better. Apparently the timing of the NoDo update to Samsung Focus phones is based on build version. NoDo was made available 4/19 to build version REV 1.3 (found near the IMEI number under your battery). My build version, unfortunately, is REV 1.4 - the update to which will be pushed out at a later date TBD.

When you get back to your phone, let me know if you're in the same boat, and if so, we know we're playing the waiting game still, and it's not a phone / software SNAFU outside of MS and Samsung yanking us around.

I went backed and looked, previously in this thread people were reporting the following for their pre-NoDo update:
Firmware revision number : 2103.10.11.2
Radio software version : 2103.10.11.2

Mine, pre Nodo both actually end in 3 and not 2.
Perhaps our phones are newer and might actually have the "February" update already bundled too. Will be curious to know if we do not have to go through that.

I actually had to wait a ~month for Zones to get in a new fresh shipment of Samsung Focus(es) in. I placed my order in mid Feb but did not get it until mid March.

I am now curious, would other people go into the settings/about and tell me the Hardware revision # they have? And if they are pre or post nodo. Mine, pre nodo update is 3.1.0.7

I am still using my old SIM card, are you as well? I hope that is not the problem!

The voice and data on my Quantum has not been activated yet, so I always show "SIM Card Error". My device showed "Update Available" sometime between 10:30 and Noon Tuesday.

Did you call Samsung or email them? I would like to know when they are going to start putting out some cool apps that utilize APIs that other developers don't have access to. I see HTC and LG constantly updating their App Zones.

@ wheelerk, I phoned them, after I went through an online chat session with them. # in the US is 888-987-HELP (4357) Mon - Fri: 7am - 9pm (CST) Sat: 9am - 6pm (CST).

@ enahs555 - February update (pre-NoDo), I'm told, is 7008. I'm still running 7004, so I'm pretty sure the Feb update wasn't bundled into newer phones. Not that it needs to be said, but I'm with you on the hardware revision #.

must say, after the NoDo update...it runs a lot smoother. Haven't have one crash since the update and no more stuttering at the end of song in Zune. I'm one happy camper! ;-)
