Noise after every song in WP 8.1

Is it just me or does everyone notice a static like noise after every song ends? The noise just plays for one second or so, it's no big deal, But I just want to know if it's just me or everyone has that noise.

Yup...it happened with me too.i think its a bug in the developer preview...

Yes happened for me too using Lumia 625....Use "Extreme music" as temporary solution.....

I am getting that static sound when I am basically fast forwarding videos in the online streaming video player. That really sucks

I can confirm this as well and I'm certain it's an 8.1 issue.
I had someone download my ringtone app who was using WP 8, and they did not hear the noise at the end of each sound clip.

Strangely enough, it only affects playing the sounds in my app. If you save a tone to your phone, and play it from the ringtones settings, the noise is gone.
Hopefully, MS is aware of this and will fix it.

I have the same issue
This static noise is happening when :
1. I skip / jump the time frame while watching youtube / online streaming, but it doesn't happen when I watch movies using Moliplayer and streaming using Plex
2. constant static noise & crackling noise whenever I use Splashtop
3. after the end of every music and when i skip / jump the time frame

Okay seems like many guys have this issue. I tried using the diagnostics app, but there is just no option for media diagnostics. Hope microsoft addresses this issue soon.

It's not just DP.
There was a post somewhere where one of the XBM dev's said they were aware of it, thought it was possibly a hardware issue and they were working on it.
Either way, they've more or less ditched doing updates for 8.1. If (and it's a big if) it does get fixed, it's likely in the "wait for Win10" basket.

Good news is that, dependent on where you live, your consumer laws may give you the option of returning it for a refund as "not fit for purpose" or similar reason. My original 1020's in that pile of returned handsets somewhere.
