Nokia 1020 won't connect to the computer?

My Nokia will only charge when connected to any computer. It is running windows 10, said computers were running windows 7 basic, premium and windows xp. It charges but other than that no connection. I need it to connect so that I can reload windows 8.1

If you used several computers and cords I fear the USB port of your phone is the problem. So I suggest to see professional help to replace the USB port.

I'd check the status in Device Manager of the host PC's and see if correct drivers are installed.
Or hard reset the phone in case there's some weird software fault on there.
