Nokia 520 losing texts

There are 2 or 3 deadspots in my network coverage area that I frequently travel through during the day. With my old phone, when I returned to a coverage area I would get the texts all at once. With my 520 they just aren't getting delivered at all. This have led to me missing some very important information.

Is there a setting that I should check? Otherwise this 520 has to go to Craigslist.

Ask for the message centre no by your carrier and cross check it with your phone

For your windowsphone.com\live account, is the phone number correct when you log in and check account settings?
