The answer is no. No one who will speak on it really knows if there will be a 64GB version. We know that 64GB and a 32GB versions exist in training Verizon employees. But whether or not they'll roll out both for retail, we do not know.

i still can't believe people need this much space, i would have no idea what to do with 64gb. 32gb is more than enough

Not sure what other people do with there phones but I try to use for work and photos (camera was why I chose this over droid). I have many documents and pictures and such. 32 GB goes kinda quick and don't always want to skydrive due compliancy issues and with no external space if they offer more I will take it...

I have 32 right now on my iPhone and it's enough for the most part, but when I'm on vacation, it goes really fast. I take a lot of photos as well, Tom.

Also, I currently store music on my phone because Xbox Music is too unreliable, unfortunately. A lot of the time I can't get songs to load for streaming, or albums are missing songs, etc. so I rely on the music stored on the device, which takes up a LOT of space. I dream of the day I can finally stream my music 100% of the time, but for now it's not logical. 64GB would be nice. Or even 32GB with a microSD card slot or something. Even though it's expected that the Lumia 929 won't get that. I can still dream.

Personally, I would love to see a 64GB version. I have a lot of music/playlists stored locally on my phone, as well as games, videos, pictures. On my L920 I have to constantly manage it all to not run out of space with the 32GB storage, so the extra space would be great.

I use xbox music a lot, and I have over 25gbs of songs on my Lumia 822's 32gb sd card, and since the 822's storage is only 16, mines about full because of apps, I would LOVE a 64gb 929

There's more money to be made by the carriers (data plan$) and the OS manufacturers (via cloud storage) to offer as little phone storage as the market (i.e. you and me) will allow. Period.

With a counter example of Apple (device manufacturer & cloud storage provider) that makes 90% margin on that $100 bump from 32GB to 64GB.....

Lets see, I don't use more than 32gb of storage so there for no one else in the world who owns a smartphone should need more than 32gb of storage...Yes that makes perfect sense.

Here are the reason, why Lumia 929 needs 64GB spaces.

1) Higher screen resolution, and other things, the OS and firmware of Lumia 929 will occupy more space compared to 920.
2) The images and videos will occupy more space than 920.
3) It uses Snapdragon 800 processor, therefore with couple of updates, 4K video recording and even 1080P recording with 60 FPS will be possible, which will require more space
3) Since 929 doesn't have memory card option. Therefore 64GB is a need.

1.) You just made the same point three times.
2.) Funny how the English allowed you to say the exact same thing in three different ways.
3.) So you're saying higher quality media requires higher quality recording?
3.) Oh, is that what we're talking about?

I just want the piece of mind that there will be enough storage, if I don't then fine. As goes with windows since the day I can remember, the more RAM and Free Space the better the performance. Just saying..:orly:

Yeah video takes a lot, but refresh my memory. What phones on Verizon currently have 64gig of storage? Would this be a first for them? If so that in itself makes me doubtful.

IMHO from a business perspective there is no incentive for the carriers to have phones with greater memory capacity (internal or memory card). They would want you to use cloud storage so you can chew up your data and hopefully go over you monthly limit and get charged for it. Again just my IMHO....

Better quality video will occupy more space. I never made a calculation, but video with 60FPS will occupy more space than 30FPS video

I was being sarcastic. Mark made it seem like no one else would need more space because he hasn't filled 32gb.
