Microsoft might be bored of WP7, but Nokia definitely aren't.

Got to wonder what Nokia can do with it, and whether they can extend some of that to non-Nokia WP7 devices.

It was made quite clear couple of months ago that WP7.X will continue. it kind of has to because there's no way you can make under 200 euros phone for WP8 at the moment.


As for the device i actually think it looks better than Lumia 822 and Lumia 810.

From what I've seen specs wise is 610 except has more plastic and lacks a flash.

The 610 is 150$ here, It can't possibly be any cheaper.

Only reason wp7.8 will continue is because MS will not allow a SC device to run WP8. Why? Because it would make it obvious that they just want to force 7.5 phone buyers to replace their less than 1 year old phone with a new wp8 device.

Until someone tells me WHY a SC cannot run wp8, I will not believe its a SC performance limitation and continue to believe its just forced obsolescence.

They might as well release a Palm OS Garnet phone, for all the relevance that it has.

A Symbian handset will actually have longer usable life, IMO.
