Hi i got the nokia beamer using the proxy trick on Lumia 720 however, when i open it always say that "Something Went Wrong and Nokia Beamer needs to close. Reopen the app and try again."
I ain't sure what i can do about this problem. I also saw many people on the windows store app review, writing that it is crashing on their Lumia 920 too. So just want to make sure if it is my device or it is just the problem with the app. And also, nokia storyteller works perfectly on Lumia 720 without any issue (used the proxy trick).

Thanks a lot in advance for anyone's help.

its not supported by your phone (512mb ram devices ) , beamer requires at least 1 Gb or more ram :)
and if its crashing on Lumia 920 , is it updated on latest Black firmware , if so try re-installing the app

what is Nokia beamer ?

It's a nokia exclusive app for 1gb and above devices. As the name says it beams whatever is on your phone (videos , games are not yet supported ). Good to share your screen on large screen tv, computer.

Sent from my iPad using WPCentral Forums mobile app

shows whats on your screen on something else, whether a PC, a phone, TV...
There is significant latency, so video and games would be a no go unfortunately. But powerpoint and pictures are serviceable.

I flashed in my L720 a Lumia Black rom from Spain, but it does not come with Nokia Camera by default, so I had to install it from from the Store. Is it something normal?

Yes because at first Nokia Camera was ONLY available for PUREVIEW devices, and has just very recently been made available for all Lumia's.
And the app doesn't come pre-installed with the Black update, rather is pushed through the store.

All Nokia apps and software settings are pushed through the store, simply because it enhances the update managability for both Nokia and the users.
