have just changed screen on phone and now have lines and what looks like cracks on screen rings and accepts text but cant read or answer thanks

obviously one of two things has most likely happened.

1. the new screen is broken or defective
2. the new screen was improperly installed

if you got it repaired by someone else, go complain to them.

if you did it yourself, try reinstalling it first, then go to who you bought the part from.

Looks like either the screen is damaged (hardware fault) or the flex cable was not set properly.
