Your network is telling the phone there is a new voicemail. The only way to delete it is by telling your network to delete it by ringing the voicemail and pressing delete sorry.

on my old htc phone, it was easy, i went into the processes and force stopped the phone app and that got rid of it... any way like that on the nokia lumia 520? cause it dosent have visual voicemail ether...

It has visual voicemail but hardly any networks supports Windows Phone visual voicemail. Why can you not call your voicemail and press delete? There is no other way.

cause i dont have calling :/ i am on telus (pay as you go), and every month i get a $10 phone card, top it up, then use the $10 to buy a unlimited texting addon, so my balance goes back to $0 but i have texting for the month

well is there anyway to call my voice mail from another phone? like a land line or a friends cellphone?

Have you contacted Telus and asked them? I know that it is possible on AT&T to forward voicemail to another number, which could even be a landline.
