That depends on you.

I wouldn't personally, but finances, values, and other things vary between people.

It's a bottom-of-the-bargain-bin Lumia Windows Phone with compromises. It doesn't have the features or creature comforts of some, but it works.

No. Do you want apps, then add a SD card to your cost. The Lumia 635 is a lot better and really cheap. If you wait, the Microsoft 535 is a great budget phone. The 530 has the right price, but not enough features

Agreed, it is better to get the 535 or the 635.

I have a 530 and a 635. Both do a great job at doing what I need. The only down side to the 530 is the screen is not using Clear Black technology like the 635, but it's OK. Also depending on what you want in screen size the 530 is 1/2 inch smaller.
