Nokia Lumia 635 - Texts not actually sending (Cricket)

Hi,

I just got my Nokia Lumia 635 a week ago. For the past few days, I've noticed that texts I send to other people, which show up as sent to them from my end, aren't actually being received. I've had 3 different people (1 using Lumia 520 on Cricket, 1 using an IPhone 4s on Virgin Mobile, and 1 using an IPhone 5s on AT&T) all show me that they aren't receiving my texts. EDIT: They are receiving SOME of my texts though. I'd say about 60% of them are actually going through. However, each of them have missed multiple messages from me over the past couple days because they never got them.

Is their a common fix for this? I still am well within my warranty. I just am not sure if it is my specific phone, Cricket, or a larger problem with the Lumia 635/Windows. I am happy to provide any additional information

Might want to fiddle with APN settings especially if you are sending pictures. Is this an AT&T Lumia 635?

It's with Cricket Wireless. Cricket uses AT&T's network though. Any idea as to what in the APN settings needs to be changed?
I've also noticed my email app hasn't synced since 4/29. Since then I have tried multiple times to refresh it but it always freezes.

Sorry couldn't help you a bit more.

thanks for at least replying and giving me the idea to ask about APN settings tomorrow.

You could try a factory reset in case it's a software issue and not a hardware one.

That is a little bit drastic. I am going to bring it into the store before I do something like that. If anything software related is messed up I want them to see it as it currently is. I made this thread to see if I could gauge ideas and maybe do something minor if that is all it would take. I appreciate the idea.

You've probably already tried turning off, waiting 10 seconds or so, then turning on? I find that with AT&T MVNOs I lose connection when I have been moving around away from my home territory. In other words, let's say I drive 200 miles to someplace and then back again. Often when I return home I am not getting texts or emails until I do the turn off, turn on thing. Same thing while I'm traveling--if I notice there is no update in awhile the turn off/turn on thing usually does the trick. Here's one forum discussing Cricket APN settings too--I would be wary of having a store employee try to set yours--they are often not well trained.
