Nokia Lumia 800 Completely Frozen

i was browsing and listening to music using zune then suddenly it frozess..
holdind down power+volume down button for 10 sec helps mee... great

Thanks ever so much for updating the original post with the fix! My mums work lumia just froze and only having android and blackberry experience I was at a loss and suggested she just left the battery drain to get it tho restart. this saved us hours thank you

My cell phone has freeze and can't be operated, I did restart it several times but it keeps on freezing.. Need some help to fix it ?

Oh man, my phone frozed up for 4hrs! i tried what you suggested, holding down the volume key and power key- IT WORKED !!!! yaaaay!! ::grin:

My Nokia was frozen hold down the lock bottom as well as the bottom voluom botton and ur done xx

Wow, funny how 2 years to the day I'm getting the same problem with my Lumia 800. It started last week and my phone only became responsive after each reboot but only for a minute or two. Once you put the phone down and the screen switched off automatically, it was frozen again. Today, I lost control completely and started to batter the screen with my fist until I couldn't continue. Then I spotted a piece of wood near my work-table and used that instead. I started beating the headphone edge then the speaker edge repeatedly when suddenly the screen started working again. Here's a photo of the phone beside the piece of wood (with a 6 inch steel rile on top) Happy 4th of July to you all:smile:
