Nokia Lumia 822 Charging Port Breaking?

Hi, my Nokia Lumia 822's charging port is constantly breaking. This will be the third time I have to replace this phone because it has randomly stopped charging. It charged fine, early this morning, but when I plugged it in a bit ago it stopped. Does anyone else, that has an 822, have this problem too? Is it just me? Do I not treat my phone well enough or is it just a flaw in the phone itself?

Got a wireless charging cover off eBay, and it is much more convenient than the cable option.
The only issue i'm having at the moment is that the cover is somewhat more bulky than the non wireless charging one.
Guess i'll get used to it with time.

I have been having charging port issues for the last couple of months and within the last few weeks it was getting difficult to charge my 822 without a lot of fancy angles and weights. Ordered a wireless charging plate and wireless phone back which arrived today. Total cost for both was about $12. Should have done this 2 1/2 years ago. So convenient. Wireless charging is now a must have for my next Windows phone, come this fall. Funny thing though...every time I pick my phone up off the wireless charging plate I still grab to unplug the USB cord which is no longer there.

I have with it. I also have a wireless charger that I can use in the mean time until I get a replacement but that's more of a stationary charger to me and I hate to have to carry that around every where I go
The USB port on my 820 failed last week so while I make my mind up as to whether to bother fixing it I got myself one of these

Aukey Wireless Charger Charging Pad QI-Enabled for: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

It is a combined power pack and wireless charger plate which can be used to recharge on the go (either wirelessly or via USB) or as a normal plugged in wireless charger (at home or hotel or in the car etc). As easy to pack in a bag or pocket as a spare phone or battery

I am also on my third Nokia Lumina phone due to charging port breaking. I am researching phones to make a change. I like the size of the screen, I like the Windows format but I am tired of dealing with the charging port breaking. I do not mistreat my phone, and now I know I am not the only one with this same problem.

Mine has the same problem. It was dead when I found it, and cannot get it to charge at all. I think the charger port is broken because that's what the previous owner said was wrong with it(my bro). Maybe I can fix it
