A few days ago, the dimensions of the upcoming upper-mid range Lumia 830 were leaked. If you draw a phone with those dimensions on paper and measure the diagonal distance leaving sufficient amount of distance from the sides for the bezels, you're scale will read 5.2".

I know, the leaks claim that the phone will have a 4.5" (or 4.7") screen but the leaks can also be false, right?

I did it too, and that was my first guess (5.13"), but then I tried from the bottom and got 5.03".

As L820 has a slightly smaller screen than L920. I expect L830 to have a smaller one than L930. Plus Nokia would give more space above and below the screen thereby shortening the screen vertically. Lets wait for further details.

I don't think 830 would have 5.2" screen, but I think it'll have 5" or 4.7", not 4.5"

I measured it too.

92% of wide is screen and 78% of high is screen (you have to check it has an angle).

With the given Dimensions this leads to 65 mm wide and 109 mm high screen, which is 127 mm screen --> 5''.

Anyway this is about 5'', no way it is 4,5" or even 4,7" seems very unlikely. Good thing IMO.

check out this comparison to the 930 ... visually they look very similar, but with a slightly taller but narrower set of dimensions of the 830...
this photo seems to compare well to the leaked specs from the Brazilian "FCC" documents we saw

this suggests a 5" screen - at 720p? sign me up... i am OK with 720p - dont know that i need 1080p on a phone...and also it should help the processor keep up with pushing less pixels, no?

yes, 5" 720p screen with a 930 like construction at just $240 is going to be a super hit for Nokia, just like the 520! :D

I find curious that both phones display the exact same content in live tiles.
And both phones have exact same shadows on the case.
To me, it is a render rather than an actual side by side comparison.

That doesn't seem right. The height is 2mm taller and 0.4mm wider than the Lumia 930 according the the Brazil specs. Considering Nokia's reputation for wide devices and big bezels, it'll likely be a 5" 720p display.

I think considering all different leaks it's clear it is 5". At least the international version, but i doupt much chance regarding the screnn for carrier specific devices anyway.
