Did someone do this before?

I've installed the Euro Rom and I don't have any issues on AT&T. It shows an L instead of LTE and when I was in San Diego, I was getting 50 MBits download. So maybe it's just software and the frequencies are hardware locked.

Anyone know which one of these would be best for use on T-Mobile, in order to get LTE or at least 3G/4G to work?

IIRC I think the AT&T version has a smaller battery and some different specs, i believe its a slightly dumbed down variant as well as the frequency differences. http://www.windowscentral.com/att-nokia-lumia-920-gets-slight-battery-and-talk-time-downgrade
