Nokia Lumia 928 Standby and talk time comparison

Here are some interesting points to note... talk time and standby time is much greater on the 928 vs the 920
Here are the two full spec pages, scroll down to the power management section for details on talk time and standby time...looks like their numbers could be for real and not just a mistake....batteries are different - similar capacity (2000mAh) but different voltages , 3.41V on the 928 vs 3.7V on the 920.
Could this mean a new or different SOC?

Nokia 928:

• Maximum talk time (2G): 11.8 h
• Maximum standby time (3G): 541.0 Hour(s)

Nokia 920:

the LDC uses a lot more power and needs the higher amp draw for the backlight.

I also agree that the OLED is going to be much more efficient and likely contribute to some of those increased times. However, I would assume the screen isn't on the entire time that you're on a call so there must be something else...

The different screens should not matter for standby or talk time as they are not on at that point. The higher voltage on the 920 may have something to do with it, but it could also be software improvements that would come to the 920 sooner rather than later. At last I hope so. Either way I hope that AT&T gets a new Nokia phone soon.

CDMA phones typically use less power for voice and data. Also combined with the screen im sure these are possible.

Wow, that's a significant improvement over the 920, let's hope the numbers hold true or are at least close.
