Nokia could be preparing to launch the Nokia Lumia 930 at Mobile World Congress 2014, updating the Lumia 920/925 position with a new flagship handset

The Nokia Lumia 930 is rumoured to have a 4.5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 20-megapixel PureView camera.

Nokia Lumia 930 rumoured to bring Lumia Icon specs to rest of world - Pocket-lint

im really excited about this, 4.5-4.7 inch phone is perfect size for me with those specs will defo replace my 925. I just hope its as sleek and light as the 925.

Hmmm I wonder if this rumor has any creditability. Two reasons 1. I have never heard of Pocket-lint. 2. I haven't seen any other rumors about it before.

I don't see why not the 920 is still a decent WP but it's outdated and the 925 honestly it is a minor upgrade
As much as i love and appreciate 52x series WP needs to do something about high-end flagships as well

This is true. The 929 is an upgrade. So maybe the 930 or something similar to the Icon won't be long to follow. I can see the truth and falsity(guess that's the word for it ha.) of this rumor.

I wouldn't read much into it since Daniel already reported that no WP will be announced/unveiled at MWC.

Seing how Lumia 930 & co will be announced after 2 April and probably launched in summer at least, I think we can be pretty sure they'll launch them with Qualcomm 805 instead of the now over half a year old 800.

Nope I haven't. And I doubt there is any credible source on that. Or much info to go off of that is legitimate. I am just going to step out of this thread and let you guys talk about these rumored phones.

This has been reported on other websites as well, personally I don't believe those no Windows Phones at MWC because I find it very hard to believe Microsoft would let Nokia show off their Android Phone and no WP8 devices.
I also doubt that they say we won't see WP8 devices until April when 8.1 launches since the Icon has come out ahead of time, not to mention since WP8 will upgrade to 8.1 there's no reason to wait on announcing and releasing phones, especially when they're going to have the Galaxy S5 launching soon I would want my new devices on the market to try and keep the consumers I have.

Prepare to be sorely disappointed :/
MS isn't going to rush out 8.1 because the S5 announcement.
I would love if you are right, but you can't run a multi billion dollar and make decisions on a whim to counter a competitors decision. It will come when it is ready and when carriers decide to update their phones.

I doubt that the Icon (which I have two of in this house) will get 8.1 in the Spring, I would be surprised if by the end of fall with Verizons record, but I would love to be proven wrong!

Daniel and WPCentral have a good track record and Daniel seems very confident about the MWC reporting. If you want to believe all of the other reports over WPC, lets remember the prime example of the Icon that has had 'release' dates since October according to those sites.

If AT&T releases it they better not Alter Technology & Torture it like they did with the 1520, by removing Qi wireless charging and slashing the memory in half. Keep it the way it is and don't ruin a good thing.
