Non-slip feet for SP2?

So I was using my SP2 on the plane yesterday and when the pilot suddenly throttled back, the SP2 launched itself off the tray table before I could grab it. My drink was right behind it, but l managed to grab that. Luckily, the tablet wasn't seriously damaged (a little twisted kickstand that I was able to correct). I realized that the tablet has nothing to keep it from sliding on smooth surfaces. I don't have a keyboard for it, though I don't think those are really non-slip either. I'm thinking that something along the lines of electrical tape that has a rubber texture instead of a slick texture. Anyone know of a good alternative to keep the Surface from sliding?

Actually the keyboard does help a lot. i don't see tape doing much good because without a keyboard the contact area is small.

Anything will help. It's practically greased now. I'm just looking for something to make it a little less slippery, not trying to glue it down. I'll post the final solution when I find it.

May want to try to cut a piece of the stuff they sell to keep the dishes in the cabinets (have seen it referred to as "Drawer liner"). I use it to set the base of the SP2 on to preclude it moving around and to keep it from getting scratched.

I thought about that, but I would prefer something that stays attached to the tablet. I already have a sleeve for it, so I don't want to carry something extra.

I received the "sample" from Essentra. I was surprised to find the free "sample" was actually a 50 foot roll of the tape! Kudos to Essentra! I put 2 approx. 1" long strips on the bottom edge of the tablet to the left and right of the keyboard connector. I also put 1" strips on the kickstand. The adhesive is quite strong and the tape is only 1/16" thick. It is so stable now that the tablet will not slide at all. It will flip over the kickstand before sliding. It is exactly what I was hoping for. I'll post pics if anyone is interested. I also have quite a bit extra tape if anyone wants some, just cover the postage.
