Noobie question

New to Windows phone, and have couple questions. One, is there a way to edit the wording on the tiles? Two, I imported my contacts from Google, but when I click on a contact name...it shows up as a Google contact which means I can't message that person from my Windows tablet

no, you can only edit the names when in folder view.
