Not getting 4G everywhere

Hello all,

I am using an unlocked Lumia 1520[rm-937] with TELUS in Canada. For some reason I am not getting 4G on this device on the locations where I used to get 4G with the carrier branded device which was the Samung Galaxy Note. I get 4G on the Lumia only at certain locations. Does anybody know what could be the reason?
