I think News is badly written app, it's buggy and drains battery. Try not to use it for a few days, don't allow it to run in the background and see if battery life gets better.

Always glad to see threads like this. People who are happy with stuff are generally quiet but people who have issues are very vocal. Seems like complaining about the phone is all there is around here lately.

Yeah and the ones with issues act like we're just lying fanboys. It's ridiculous, I had a bunch of junky 830 models and griped about them for a year.

If a device it's crap I call it crap. My 950 works great. Period.

I feel bad for the people with problems because they seem numerous and in some case debilitating. I saw a poster suggesting that some devices were shipped with older firmware that has problems, that would make sense and I we get more info on that.
