Notification Center is a joke

Why did they have to group all of the notifications (example all exchange emails) into a single notification? Why not allow the ability to review/preview each notification individually - similar to Android. What real purpose does it serve? You see a handful of truncated email subjects and the only option is to read all or dismiss.

Give it a chance, it is the beginning of a notification center and is like everything else on the OS a work in progress. MS has really been listening to its users and trying to implement things that they want. I am certain that with a future update your idea will happen. There were a lot of changes in this update and maybe that was one of the smaller things they couldn't fit in this time around.

Also I wouldn't call it a joke just because it doesn't work for your needs, I am sure there are plenty of others who are quite happy with it.

this is still BETA it will get better like windows 8. I know is a slow process but windows and windows phone are finally catching on to what users really need. I'm a Nexus 5 owner so there are things I still miss about it but windows is much more clean and fluent out of the box. I cant tell you which one I would use as my daily driver but if I wasn't fortunate enough to buy two phones a year and I'm stuck with either or I will be a happy camper. Right now I'm enjoying the Sh*t out of my Nokia Lumia 925.

All I do is tap on the email I want to read & delete it when I'm done. It is then removed from the action center. It would be nice to swipe away individual notifications instead of the whole group but its not the end of the world..... Plus this is not the final version, hence the "Preview" designation. There are always the gdr updates that it could be addressed in down the road.

u can read only one of them n when u'll get back to notification centre unread will b there but if u want to clear them then all at once is only choice now

You can actually tap each email individually and view them individually. Currently there is no option to remove each one which can be a hassle don't you think? So it makes sense that we just clear them all together and just read the ones needed : ]
