Notification for Facebook Messenger Issue?

It's been almost a week that my Facebook messenger gets lag and stops showing notification. I have to do restart the phone and it works. Also while talking to my friend on messenger, the messages sometimes couldn't be sent (LTE, WIFI works great). I tried to reinstall the app, but it doesnt help much.
Does anyone get the similar issues? How do you resolve this?

I have been having this issue since yesterday. However, it seems to be working now. I guess it was partly on the server side of Facebook Messenger. Can you confirm if it is indeed working now from your side?

I had it too, uninstalled and reinstalled. Working fine now
