Notification issues

From 17th September morning my lumia 950 is behaving strangely. I'm not at all receiving any notifications from any apps like WhatsApp, viber, hike, skype etc. Only if I open the app then only Im seeing the messages. I tried soft resets, also reinstalled the apps but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me out please. I'm so very frustrated.

It's common. at least I have the same problem. I'm suspecting something about cortana servers. I'm have the settings on to see my notifications on my pc. but the synchronization is all messed up now.

@Maceart I have done hard reset after backing up everything. Then now its working fine.. May be you should also try this

Jeezus the only reason I avoided being on the insider program is to NOT hard reset.

Is Microsoft daft? Expecting us to HARD RESET a phone just to fix THEIR issues?

Yea me too that's the only reason I'm not a part of insiders. And I was so frustrated that I have to do a hard reset. Sigh!

A little off topic maybe.....but I have jumped between slow and release preview insider rings for months......had two 950s since January...I have NEVER had to do a hard reset or recovery.....maybe I've been lucky, or maybe the need to do so gets blown out of proportion a tad?.....don't know, but I do stay on release preview early on........
