Notifications persist on not. center even after app launched

Hello!
The notifications now persist on the notification center, even after I've launched the related app... Was not so before. Not sure if it's since Denim update or more recently.
Is it me? or a bug? or something new with Denim and deliberate?
I prefered when the notifications automatically disappeared from the not. center as soon as you launched the corresponding app...

It happens with Facebook app if thats what you meant. The notifications only disappear if you open FB by its tile and not the notification. Also, it also happens to whatsapp when I am not connected to the internet.

In fact no. Even if I open Facebook, Whatsapp and other apps by their tile, the notification doesn't disappear. I must delete them manually (by sweep).
