NPUs are essential for AI, but what are they, and how do they differ from GPUs?

"...and CPUs (Computer Processing Units)..."

CPU is Central Processing Unit.

"Intel is the CPU Industry leader".

Historically, yes they were. Back when PCs and Windows were king. But those days are long gone. There are way more Arm CPUs in use these days. Arm CPUs that have had NPUs for several years now. And that number will continue to grow as Windows PCs move to Arm. Which will finally begin to happen next year in large numbers.

Intel is quickly becoming legacy stuff. If you still own any Intel stock, now is the time to sell it.
