Office 365 subscription on phone

I had query..is this subscription device specific or account specific? I have purchased Lumia 640XL and i have got the office 365 subscription with the device.if I activate this on my 640XL using my microsoft id, can I use the subscription on my Lumia 830 with the same microsoft account i used for activation it on 640XL instead of the 640XL?planning to use 640XL with a different microsoft id then along with my 830

This is only for pc and tablet as of now.. I tried in Lumia but its not working.. Windows 10 will bring the ability I guess
