No WP version of Official 2014 FIFA World Cup app... SHAME on the FIFA! SHAME SHAME SHAME.
It's alas another proof of the arrogance of many companies, and their disdain of Windows Phone.
Very sad.

What do you think? What would say Joe Belfiore about this?

It's too bad. Any good alternatives? Sofascore has been working hard to get their app ready for the world cup, but that's just for live score updates.

I've got Onefootball, sofascore, cortana/bing sports, ESPN fc, onefootball Brazil installed. Pretty much covers anything you might want to know about football.

Forza Football seems like it'll be worth the time though I agree, Official would have been nice.

I'm using OneFootball Brasil, but you can download the app store called webapps, the FIFA webapp is there

What do you care about? Getting all the info on your favorite team or Official word in App Name? If you don't care about latter, go for Forza Football or OneFootball. If you are minimalist, download Forza and if you want detailed information and colors, download OneFootball.

I was not posting this because I searched for alternatives, but because I am angry and sad to see how WP is disdained by FIFA, how it's disdained still today by many major companies. When will we see this OS be a part of the "mobile landscape"? Time passes... And everywhere everything only speaks about iOS and Android :-(
Like ignoring the 40-60 millions WP users in the world...

Well Microsoft ignores WP users too so we really shouldn't be surprised when others do as well.
