Now that windows 10 will make it easier to create apps across Xbox One, PC, and phone I really hope that we will get an official app for phone since there already is one for Xbox.
I was in a channel that I frequently visit and in the chat admins sometimes come in. This one admin named "Kush" answered someone's question regarding a windows phone app and Kush said that they would make one "Whenever Windows Phone gets cool which would be never" then began trolling the chat room and making jokes about it and saying how he basically "rekt" Microsoft. I can understand admins lightly joking about such things because windows phone has a smaller market share than android and iOS but this guy seemed over the top with his hatred of Windows Phone and seemed like a troll about someone bringing up an official app.

Why do we even need an "official" app? 8Stream is basically the same. Works great.

I'd just about die of happiness if HBOGo app for XboxOne is a Windows 10 universal app. Been wanting it on the phone forever.
