Does anyone have live tile for store,
I have enabled d live tile option in store settings
But its not working

Mine also don?t work. My is a 1520 CV GBIE and your?

When unlocking screen (for after like more than 2 minutes), "Resuming.." display and it will take like 2 seconds or more just for the screen to display. Not the snappiest of the windows phone i've ever seen so far.

One more thing, after I created two live folders, it doesn't allow me to create anymore (or i dunno), or it was just me who doesn't really know the "right" way to create live folders. Also I cannot add any more tile to my already created live folders.

I asked her to show appointments for today and she not only listed out the appointments but read entire meeting agenda! Cortana Beta is able to read the meeting title only

On the photos tile, after my update instead of showing my favorites, the tile was showing canned sample photos that amazingly enough I had deleted out of my phone long ago. To fix, open fotos and go to settings and switch tile settings to all photos then go back to main page and wait for the tile to flip and replace the sample image with one of your own. After this go back into the photo app and change back to favorites and you will be all set.

Today, my Lumia 920's already updated. Its status is WP Pre ver. No: 8.10.147147.180. But it's still Black and the option: "Install local app" has not present.
Anyone is different from me ?

No, in the settings it says it should show the 'app of the day' as your life tile. Is it working for you or anybody else?

Cortana (Alpha) not working with region set to India, its there in the app list but when I open it says cannot speak your language. My language is set to US.
And I don't know why but store live tile is also not working for me

you need to set speech language to English UK (not US)

I finally got my Lumia 925 to update after trying 5 times and getting the 80188308 error. Here's what I did:



1. Backed up my texts and settings, copied pictures and music to my PC via usb.

2. Used Nokia Recovery Tool to downgrade to 8.0

3. Downloaded Preview for Developers app then upgraded to 8.1

4. Tried 8.1 Update 1 again...and SUCCESS 1ST ATTEMPT! :smile:

5. Hard reset phone and restored backup, copied pictures and music back to phone from PC.



Not sure if this will work for anyone else but if it does, great! Good luck everyone! :grin:

I had the error 7 times, I did nothing and trying at 8 it worked!

yes, only work on big tile, not the long one...does not work on the small one

Maybe is the placebo effect but I feel it a bit more responsive than the previous software, will test it more.

Anyone else have their Glance screen flipped upside down?

This happened to a few people (me included) when 8.1 was first released. I think it took an update from Microsoft to fix it but I can't remember for sure.

This time with 8.1 Update 1 my Glance screen is fine (Lumina 920).

I'm on Lumia 930 with Cyan. Anyone else notice slight lag/animation jumpy when retiring to start screen from an app? Doesn't seem to happen straight after a restart, but after you've used phone for a few minutes and opened a few apps.
