OK to update to 8.0.10532.166 ?

Just downloaded this update. Not sure if I should proceed to install???

It says:

I have no intention to update to WP 8.1 for my 920. How will this small update prior to W8.1 updates helps/improves my 920? Not sure what has been changed/updated under 8.0.10532.166?

I don't want to have any problems after this minor update.

I had the same update procedure on my 930. You get the small update, that prepares your phone for the big update you get afterwards.

So just update your phone.

I got the auto prompt to update to this version (we're behind in the UK!). Installed it and now ALL my non-standard apps don't work, which is a major pain. Everything from torch and compass through to YouTube, Facebook. Even more annoying I had a Shift Scheduler app that will now lose a year of data.
Come one MS - sort yourselves out - how am I going to upgrade to 8.1?????
