Okay... Wallet 2.0 just wiped all my loyalty cards.

I was ecstatic to hear that - outside of NFC payment, I'd also get to ditch Stocard once and for all for a native barcode solution. I actually used Stocard to replace a lot of things. Outside of just being able to fetch rewards barcodes easily, the barcodes would allow me to sign into resource centers at the university I attend and rent books from my local library.

NFC works perfectly with my US Bank, and I've been using the hell out of it... loyalty has been another situation. Can't customize the card's picture, can't just choose a barcode type and generate barcodes for things not in the database... and even more annoying, the long-press menu doesn't allow editing so I have to delete and re-add if I want to re-attempt the barcode.

Which doesn't seem to matter at all now because today it just up and wiped ALL my loyalty cards. They're just gone. Anyone else have this happen to them out of nowhere?

UPDATE: ...and now just trying to add ANY card returns "Something went wrong and we can't add this card to your wallet"

Sorry, not completely on topic with your question, but as a user of tap to pay, does wallet ever remove your Payment Cards section in the wallet app? For me the app works fine immediately after a reboot, but later (can't figure out the cause, seems to happen at random) the Payment tab is no longer present in wallet, just the Loyalty cards tab. I like tap to pay but this is frustrating and I can't tell if it is just my phone.

That specific issue hasn't happened to me, but I have noticed that under NFC in settings, sometimes the default tap-to-pay app disappears. I can't use tap-to-pay until I reboot, at which point the setting will randomly clear again at some point in the future. It's gotten to the point where if I'm thinking of using TTP, I check the settings first to make sure it's actually still listed and, if I have time, I'll reboot if necessary.

Thanks for the information. This definitely appears similar to my situation (a reboot will fix the issue). I still use/like the feature but definitely open wallet and see if the card is listed before trying to use.

I think I may have figured out the issue. After each transaction (or any time I open Wallet) I have been manually killing the app and I haven't had it disappear yet after several uses. Maybe the issue happens when the OS closes the app. I'd recommend closing it yourself and seeing if that makes any difference.
