Windows Central Question

Yesterday, the icon for Facebook messenger changed from the normal lightning bolt to a dog bone. I cannot figure out why, or how to change it back! I've even removed messenger from my phone and reinstalled it. I did all the usual - turned the phone off, took out the battery, etc. How do I change it back?

This is probably the most bizarre thing i've seen happen on a Windows Phone.

Maybe they're trying to send you a message. On the internet, no one knows you're a dog. But Microsoft knows... They know.

It's not funny at all, Microsoft have an "Elite Dogfood" branch for Windows 10 which allows Carriers and OEMs to have access to cutting edge builds that the fbl_impressive branch doesn't have.

I have that on my phone too BUT when I try to get into messenger it loops me back to my home screen. The only time I can get into messenger is if someone sends me a message, even if I try directly from facebook.
