One more NOOB question

How can you tell which Nokia Firmware updates you have received?

In Settings -> Extras + info, it should be there!

Thanks kindly, but when I go to the site, it says the latest update should be, "Lumia Amber (3046.0001.1326.0003)"

there appears to be no such animal when I check "extras"

You need to go to settings>extras and info>more info. It should be in there.
