One of the very few times I've ran into another WP!

Well in Perth Western Australia I have started seeing a few handsets out and about over the last few months. First a guy I worked with got one on his own accord. Saw a lady on the train with one. Convinced my wife plus 2 other friends to get one. My mates sister in law just got one (I know cause he asked me some questions about WP7 which he then had to pass on to his sister in law) and another mates wife just got one cause they are going cheap at Vodafone. I also bumped into a guy a couple weeks ago I kinda knew at a shopping centre and noticed he had one as well. So quite a few sightings for me.

But biggest thing I've noticed when I first got my phone in April 2010, I'm a WP7 app showed only 35,000 devices. It's now just over 200,000! That's 5 times as many in less than a year. So I'm sure we all gonna start seeing a lot of WP7's out and about.

I saw my first yesterday: a teenage girl. She had a Focus Flash I think and was texting away feverishly on it.

Nobody I know has one and the only other person I ever seen use one was this kid with a broken wrist. I was showing a familiy member who has the droid x2 my trophy, and he said it looked "futuristic". And I was using it at work once and a co-worker came up to me and wanted to see this "very strange and wonderful" device..
It almost seems like wp7 is some kind of mythical relic...lol

I've seen a few out in the wild. My neighbor has one after I convinced him to get the Focus S. I saw a guy out at the clubs with an HD7 a few times when I had mine.

I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to a focus flash, I ended up returning it because I want to get the Lumia 900.

Where I work I've seen 1 person with one, and I've sold 2 to people, an htc radar, and a Nokia 710. I convinced the person who bought the radar to switch from android.

I used to be a part time TMO rep so that's the only time i would ever see a WP7 device. The company I work for has about 500 employees and we get a discount through At&t so all I see running around are iPhones.

A lot of my co-workers who are BB users dont like the iphone or Android and want to switch to WP7 but the lack of storage and being able to move files/spreadsheets from their work computers to their phones is whats stopping them.

Other than that, I haven't seen another WP7 user.

You guys ARE MAKING ME NERVOUS... I like having an unusual, different phone...

I saw a Nokia in town the other day, and it was muy nice -that also made me nervous.

I'm getting nervouser and nervouser... and I'm not that kind of guy ;)

Nervous as in "impulse buy" nervous? LOL!

I was in Radioshack yesterday exchanging a set of headphones and the guy behind the counter asked me about me about the kind of phone I had, so I showed him. He has the HD7 so we started talking about apps and Zune pass, etc. That was cool.

There's also about 10 people in my office that have WP7 phones. Everything from a DVP to the Focus. I'm the only one with an Arrive.

They're out there and they love the OS.....
