One thing that worries me bout upgrading to the 950XL

...or any new windows phone for that matter. While I will be glad to be done with the phantom touches on the 1520, I always fret hard resetting my windows phone or moving onto a new windows phone hardware. The main reason? Its always Russian roulette of the app game, when I select my device backup and hold my breath to see how many of my beloved apps are no longer available and I will have lost forever. I still do not get why we cant fully back the physical app up on our PC the way you can with iOS. The only thing the way it works now achieves, is me constantly losing the use of many of my favorite apps.

I guess it depends on the developer, Microsoft has this functionality available.

Its up to the developers to include it or not.

example, WhatsApp backs up the entire app, and when installed with the backup after a hard reset, you find everything is in place just as you left it.
