One vs One S cooling and average temps

How does the system cooling compare on the One versus the One S? It seems like the S could run hotter because it is more compact and has smaller vents. I am not worried about overheating- just thinking that the original One would average lower temps.

While I have not found a detailed temperature comparison, I did find an interview of a Microsoft rep that covered my question:

Microsoft upgraded the SoC in the S. The manufacturing tech is now 16nm, compared to the original One's 28nm. That helps reduce power consumption while maintaining performance levels.
