One Year with the 920...time for a new phone or not?

Unfortunately, Nokia is now dropping the support of 920. I feel like their support for every phone is a year. Like 1520, they forget the hype of the phone after a year.

Unlike previous phones I have owned I seem to like my 920 the longer i have it.

I'll hold on to it probably til the end of 2014 and see if any kick *** MS phones come out by then.

Yup, I expect to see a Microsoft branded phone this year, if not possible early 2015

My wife and I both got 920's, we both love them. I bought the 1020 (couldn't resist) although I do love the 1020 and the camera, camera grip, and snappiness I do miss the 920. I loved how it felt in my hand, the weight, the color it all just seemed right. 920 was the best overall phone I have owned.

you're the first to say that you "miss" the weight of the 920.

I love my Lumia 920. first smartphone. will forever keep it, no sale :)
but thinking of upgrading to golden fingers or whatever Lumia coming out next in the 4.5-5" range.

He s not the only one... :)

I really don't feel the need for a new phone - my 920 still works great. Still does everything without dropping a beat and the camera takes great pictures. I'm looking forward to the Black update.

The only Windows Phone which I would be interested to upgrade to would be the 1520

I've had my 920 since it launched over a year ago and I'm not currently in the need to upgrade it. Still feels like a flagship phone with all the updates. I have the dev edition of GDR3 on it and the experience of the phone has improved greatly since launch.

I have had next to ZERO problems with my 920 and love this phone alot.

My only urge to upgrade may be a 1520 because of 1080P and the larger screen but other than that I have no itch to upgrade.

I also have owned L920 for just a but over a year and in still loving it, doesn't feel like an old phone to me at all! Although the new models are tempting, I'm at least going to wait for the next real flagship WP8.1 device that Nokia is going to put out

I hope the Nokia and Microsoft will still support 920. Lumia 920 has been release September 2012. I save money and I bought my phone on November 2013.

Well dropping support for 920 would mean to drop support for 925,1020 and 1320 for all of these share similar specs.

When I bought my 920 I knew I'd have to live with it at least two years and as I approach the end of the first year, I have to confess it's one of the best investments I've ever made. Sexy red has been close to perfect and I'm looking forward to GDR3/Black and WP8.1 (& what exactly is support if not for OS updates?).

If however, you've had such a bad experience as you say, move on. It doesn't make sense to stick with something you don't like. Wait for 8.1 and move.

Well I know I said I was going to stick it out but ended up switching carriers to T-Mobile as the AT&T phone bills have been way to high/poor customer service/and poor signal and cell service. I have the Lumia 925 now and I am very happy with it so far. I added the "Jump" plan on T-Mobile as well so if they happen to get a new Windows Phone that I just have to have in the near future I can upgrade. The change is saving an extra $60 a month on the phone bill so I am very happy with that.

Goodbye Lumia 920! :-)
