Onedrive cuts our space from 30 GB to 5 GB?

Please advise when Onedrive cuts our space from 30 GB to 5 GB? Are there free accounts where there is no cut at all?

You had until Jan 31st 2016 to opt in to keep your 30GB. If you didn't do that it will reduce, but no firm date that I know. May have already happened. OneDrive is still one of the cheapest and best supported cross-platform cloud drive storage, so if you use it, it's worth paying a little to keep using it. But there are options, so explore and find what suits you best.

That is strange! Didn't happen to me. I still have 30GB as it was.

Because it doesn't take effect until July 2016.

I got the email today announcing my storage reduction from 15GB to 5GB. Meh, what are you gonna do? Promotions come and they end. Hard to argue with Microsoft changing something they gave you for free.
