OneDrive NTFS

Hi all,

Is OneDrive still limited to using NTFS format. I just purchased a SP6 and a Micro SD 256 card. The card is formatted to exFAT When I install OneDrive, I would like to point it to the SD card, but I don't know if MS will allow it to be installed on an exFAT drive.

OneDrive still only uses NTFS format. OneDrive isn't designed to work with other formatted drives. So you can call it a limitation if you wish.

Unless there's some data on there just format the SD card to NTFS. You can use other tools to format the drive without losing the data if there is data. Or you can just transfer that data onto your SP6 prior to formatting it.

Unless your plan is to swap the SD card between devices I don't see the issue here.
