Only my left speaker works when I am wired up why?

My Microsoft Lumia 640 phone works with both speakers on Bluetooth, however when I am wired up only the left speaker works on ALL or ANY wired earphones.

try jiggling the pin in and out to see if that makes any difference. Some pins have narrow limits in which they work

If your wired headset is marked as "works for iOS" then it is wired different from the rest of the world.
