Could someone answer why in about on my 8x the os version shows as 8.0.10501.127 and have just updated my sons 520 and it shows 8.0.10517.150. Surely the os should be the same on both regardless to the additions that Nokia put on there? The reason i say this as i have noticed on my sons 520 at the top of the wifi icon there is a little arrow pointing away from the phone!!!

I believe it has more to do with the manufacturer than anything else. Also, from what I understand, the arrows are activity notifications. For the record, my RM-937 (international, Hong Kong variant 1520) is on .155.

Its funny as i borrowed a 1020 from Nokia a couple of weeks ago and that had the black update but that didn't have the arrows on it?

My Lumia 620 show the version 8.0.10521.155.
I think the "build" is more about the device. Some need implementations not needed in others.

I have 8.0.10521.155 and mine is the full release version of GDR3 as packaged with Lumia Black on my Lumia 820. It is the number for the final release as well as (you say) for the developer preview.

So are you all saying that i should have another update inbound? Do you all have the arrow at the top of the wifi symbol?

The arrow thing is probably a carrier customization (I remembered saw them Android phones from some carriers).

My unbranded Lumia 920 just updated to Lumia Black and OS version number is 10521 as others posted. Whether or not you will see another update is up to your carrier if you have a branded phone.IIRC, there were two small OS updates after original GDR3 release (Dev Preview).

Humm strange as to why they would add that in, my 8x is from the same carrier Orange UK but then that was updated a few months ago!
