This is indeed bothersome to me. I can't help but to wonder why this is when the hardware certainly isn't an issue. It's all down to software these days. My only thought is that they are trying to keep clear lines defined between RT and WP. What's more, not only does it not support OTG, but it also does not support HID. That's very odd to me considering that one of the major selling points from their mouths is in regards to Office. I guess we'll see what comes with 8.1?
